One of my favorite pieces of clothing has to be my overalls. I’ve gone through several pairs over the past couple of years but there was something wrong with almost every pair. The legs wouldn’t be long enough, giving me a “cropped” look. Another pair wasn’t long enough in the torso (between you and me gave me bad cameltoe).
My favorite places to buy tall pieces are Madewell, ASOS, Topshop, and Show Me Your Mumu. You can find great overalls on all these sites, it just depends on the fit you want. You can have a straight leg, skinny, bell bottom, relaxed fit, or even shorts (those are called shortalls).
After some trial and error, I finally found the perfect pair of overalls for me. These straight leg, stretchy overalls from Madewell! See more of them below and the best overalls for the tall woman and how to style them in the winter.
Winter Fashion: Best Overalls for the Tall Woman
It’s easy to style overalls in the summer because you just need to add a light tee, tank top, or crop top to be breezy and cool. In the winter, with it being colder, you have to layer up! I’ve worn oversized sweaters, crop sweaters, long sleeve bodysuits, turtlenecks, and even this puffed sleeve black top with my overalls.
You can wear sneakers or flats with your overalls, but why not wear some over the knee or knee high boots for an elevated look! Styling your overalls like this may look like a cowboy (or a pirate as my husband called it), but if you’re wanting to elevate your overalls and make them a little more high fashion, adding some flashier pieces do the trick.
