In the winter months, bloggers get creative on where to take their photos. Hotel lobbies are my favorite places to shoot. Usually, they have a couple of different places to take photos and a bathroom to change in. If you pick the right time you can also have it to yourself if you’re in-between checkout and check-in. I’m sharing 5 of my favorite hotels to shoot at today.
Where to Take Pictures in Nashville: Top 5 Best Hotel Lobbies
The Graduate
The Graduate near Vanderbilt is a blogger’s dream. The lobby and coffee shop, The Poindexter, has so many areas for photos. Shoot on the couches, pink couches, the Minnie Pearl portrait, or near the floral wallpaper! Every area is an Instagram moment. When the weather warms up, the rooftop bar White Limozeen is another great spot for photos!

The Russell
The Russell is an East Nashville gem. Every stay helps someone experiencing homelessness here in Nashville through their Rooms for Rooms program. The lobby has beautiful stained glass, a colorful living area, a bar and places to work. They also have a Photo Booth and podcast room!

The Fairlane
I visited the Fairlane in December for their Misfit Toy Bar pop up and it was a Christmas lover’s dream! Their lobby is just as dreamy and has a very Great Gatsby, glam, modern vibe.

Virgin Nashville
One of the newer hotels near Music Row, the Virgin is so modern and sleek. It feels like the kind of place a rockstar would stay! It also is dog friendly and has a killer rooftop pool area, perfect for photos in the warmer months!
Holston House
Located, near Broadway AKA Nashville’s hottest strip of honkey tonk bars, Holston House’s lobby is a little dark to shoot in but I love shooting outside, in their rooms, on their rooftop and even their hallways!

While Nashville has a lot of hotels that don’t mind you shooting in the lobby (as long as you don’t get in the way too much and disturb other guests), a few hotels I know that don’t allow blogger photoshoots are the Thompson Hotel in the Gulch and the Bobby Hotel downtown. When in doubt, always email the hotel! Tell them when you want to shoot, the area, and how long you think it’ll take.
omg, The Fair Lane looks like a sweets shop! So fun and beautiful! I do love a good hotel lobby!
