One of the things I was most excited about on our California trip was a day in Napa. I’ve heard that Napa is one of the most beautiful places, so I was excited to see it for myself. We drove to Napa from San Francisco and got to drive through the Golden Gate Bridge and see such gorgeous scenery.
We arrived in Napa and checked into our home for the night, The Meritage Resort & Spa. This place is so beautiful. The interior is so warm, inviting and cozy and the staff so friendly and accommodating.
Before exploring the grounds we wanted to check out our room. Our room at the comfiest king sized bed, a patio with table and chairs and a bathroom with the best mirror and lighting. We made ourselves right at home!
After getting settled in, we explored the property. The Meritage has an amazing pool, hot tub and fire pit. I wish I could have taken a dip but it was too cold!
If you walk past the pool, you arrive at the spa and Trinitas Tasting Room. The Meritage was kind enough to set up a complimentary testing for us. When in Napa right?!
After the wine tasting, we had some time before dinner. So we walked the stairs next to the Spa/Trinitas Cellar to see the vineyards and the beautiful view from the top! Such an incredible spot to sit and watch a sunset.
After enjoying the view, we headed down to Siena for dinner. The space is gorgeous and the food was absolutely amazing. We ate until we were so stuffed! Each dish kept getting better and better. I’m pretty sure Tim had to carry/drag me out. Siena is also open for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch.
I already texted a group of girlfriends and told them we were going to come back and stay at the Meritage. I’d love to come back when it’s warmer for a girl’s weekend! If you’re planning a trip to Napa, I highly recommend booking your stay at the Meritage Resort & Spa!
