I know, I know we’re all going to be home for Valentine’s Day this year. No romantic dinners at a fancy restaurant, no weekend getaways at a spa or resort, just you and your Valentine at home. Just because you’re at home doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! I’m celebrating 10 activities for couples in today’s post.
Valentine’s Day At Home: 10 Lovely Activities for Couples
Build a Fort In Front of the TV
Get an air mattress, blow it up, string some lights, and build a fort! We’ve built a fort a few times in front of the TV. We get all the pillows and blankets and cuddle up in there. Sometimes we watch a movie, we read, listen to music, just enjoy each other’s company.
Make Dinner Together
I’m by no means an amazing cook. I would much rather clean up than cook! But it’s nice to make dinner together on special occasions. My husband is good with the main dish while I do sides and set the table!
Have a Game Night
Confession, I am CRAZY competitive, I blame it on being a Capricorn. So my husband sometimes doesn’t want to play games with me because I’m in it to win. Some of our favorites are Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, and Scrabble!
Listen to Your Favorite Vinyls
We love music and continue to grow our vinyl collection. I’ve listed some of my favorite vinyl here, but my rule before I buy a vinyl is you have to like the album from start to finish. You can’t pause or skip so it has to have a good flow!
Have a Fire and Make S’Mores
We got a fire pit last year and it’s so nice to go out there and enjoy the fire on a chilly evening. You can’t have a fire without s’mores! I like mine with Hershey bars and my husband likes his with Reese’s. Cuddle with your sweetheart by the fire and enjoy the evening.
Make a Charcuterie Board, Have a Glass of Wine and Read on the Couch
This year has been a lot, sometimes you just need a quiet night in. Get your favorite bottle of wine, make a charcuterie board and read on the couch. It’s nice just sitting with your loved one while relaxing!
Climb Up on the Roof and Stargaze
Granted, this option isn’t for everyone, and of course, you need to be safe. But if you’re feeling adventurous, carefully climb onto your roof and stargaze! Bring a blanket or thermos of hot chocolate up too and see how many stars you can see.
Watch All Your Favorite TV Shows or Movies Together
This is my go-to date night idea. You can’t go wrong with watching the latest episode of WandaVision or rewatching the office for the millionth time. Grab a pizza and some soda and veg out!
Do a Fun Puzzle
Puzzles are always a fun way to pass the time. For Valentine’s Day, have a puzzle made of a photo of you two or your favorite vacation together. When you’re done, glue it and frame it!
Learn a Viral TikTok Dance
Admit it, we all learned a dance (or two) in quarantine. I learned the Savage dance and Blinding Light dances! But have some fun and learn a new video with your Valentine. You don’t have to record or post it, just move and have fun!
I love these are fun, easy and low key ideas for Valentine’s Day! Love that they are really simple and accessible. I definitely want to make some s’mores in my new fireplace!

Cute ideas! We’re going for a drinks at a restaurant that over looks the ocean right at sunset but then will probably come home and do charcuterie and wine!
How fun are these pictures. I love that black shirt with red pout.

My husband and I pretty much mastered at-home dates long before the pandemic because we’re already such homebodies and just prefer to stay home (plus, it saves us lots of money)! These are some of our favorite ideas – though I sure do wish stargazing was an easier option. We live in a townhome and climbing on the roof isn’t much of an option haha!
Fun ideas! I think I may have to break out my indoor s’mores kit, that sounds so good!
Haha! Love the “learn a viral Tiktok dance”. It is quite tempting! Just need to get my husband on board. Just a great list of ideas!
these are great ideas for valentines day~
