These are the shorts similar to the ones I’m wearing in today’s photos. Light-colored shorts look great with a simple tee or button-up. Perfect for grabbing iced coffee with a friend or spending the day outside.

If you’re spending the summer by the pool or at the beach (as we all should), these shorts are perfect for throwing in a beach bag and throwing on when you need them. I also love traveling in these for long road trips because they are insanely comfortable! They come in black and white and are under $25.

I’m a huge fan of Abercrombie’s denim shorts (they’re some of my favorite denim shorts for tall girls) and just got a new pair in the 90s High Rise. They also have great curvy shorts if you have hips and booty!

If you need some shorts that are a little dressier, find some with a fun texture like linen and an accessory like a belt. These are less than $35 and come in three different colors. Great for a business lunch with a button-down or blazer!

North Mid Rise Bermuda Short

Every girl needs some lounge shorts for summer. Look no further than Athleta! I have these in black but just saw the green and might have to take the plunge. They’re made just for us tall girls and are great for running errands, meeting a friend for coffee, or walking around the neighborhood.
