There’s nothing like sitting on a patio with friends with a cocktail in hand. It gets so warm in Nashville and the humidity is off the charts, but when you’re on a patio with a cold drink it all goes away. There are so many new bars in Nashville with amazing cocktails, I thought I’d share my 5 favorites with you in today’s post!
Top 5 Best Bars in Nashville for Summer Cocktails
Otto’s
I live on the west side of Nashville in the Nations and Otto’s just opened up. Otto’s serves craft cocktails and small bites in an intimate atmosphere. I also love their happy hour! It’s Tuesday-Friday from 4-6 p.m. and has $10 cheeseboards, $5 house wines, $1 off drafts, and $1 off well drinks. They also have Taco Tuesday specials with $2 tacos and $6 margaritas. Come and hang out on their outside patio!
The Pool Club at the Virgin Hotel
The Virgin is one of my favorite rooftop bars that’s not directly downtown. Located on Music Row in Midtown, the Virgin Hotel at the Pool Club has yummy cocktails, a great view, and fun, retro vibes. My favorite cocktails are the Peachy King and Backwoods Barbie!
Gertie’s Whiskey Bar
If you like whiskey you have to go to Gertie’s. They have over 600 bottles of rare and hard-to-find whiskey! You can find Gertie’s in the Gulch in the basement at 404. If you’re not a whiskey drinker there are other options for you to enjoy like cocktails, beer, and wine.
Old Glory
In the back alley of Edgehill, you’ll find Old Glory. Old Glory has been one of my go-to cocktail bars for years! I love the moody ambiance, high ceilings, and fabulous cocktails. I’ve tried the Sunshine State and Purple Russian cocktails and they did not disappoint!
Bastion
Head to Wedgewood Houston to grab a drink at Bastion! This is always a fun spot to take a group of friends. Order some yummy nachos with an Ooo La La rum cocktail or the Hundred Hand Slap if you like gin.
You always find the best paces to visit! I’ll have to put these on my list when we visit!
