This post is brought to you by Dollar General. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting brands that support Greta Hollar.com!
It’s no surprise that I love my two dogs, Gatsby and Fitzy, more than anything. With my life right now, I’m gone quite a bit and I always miss them when I travel.
Luckily, my mom is the best dog sitter in the world and loves her ‘grandpups’ to death! But I still like to make sure they’re covered and don’t need treats, toys, or food when I’m done. I don’t have to travel far which is so convenient!
There’s a Dollar General less than a mile from our house. It’s so nice and they have all the pet accessories covered! I can easily walk or drive there to pick up dog food, treats and flea, and tick medicine.
When we adopted Fitzy in May, we had no idea we were getting another dog. It was one of those situations where it was fate and just worked out perfectly. So, we randomly came home with her after a weekend at my parents. Luckily, Dollar General was close so we could go in and get puppy food, toys, bowls, and a new bed for the newest addition to our family. During this Dollar General visit, the store had such a friendly and helpful staff and helped me pick out the right puppy food to start Fitzy on!
Dollar General carries well-known dog food brands Iams, Cedar, Purina, Pedigree, and Rachael Ray. All the products are affordable, so I know I won’t be breaking the bank for a new toy for Gatsby or a new bed when Fitzy chews it to bits.
Dollar General’s pet section doesn’t only have things for dogs, they have items for cats too! You can walk in and purchase your kitty’s food, treats, cat litter, and pet accessories.
Dollar General’s website is easy to navigate and you can shop online and in-store for items. That way, you can know what your store has before you go! If you shop online, it also shows you DG Digital Coupons to help you save more!
