So this week I’ve actually gotten dressed once! To be honest, though it was into a clean pair of yoga pants and I put a little eye makeup on to dress up my face mask! Tennessee is slowly opening back up in phases, phase one was hair salon’s so on Monday I went and had my hair colored and my NBR extensions moved up. I honestly feel like a new person and it helps life feel a little more “normal” getting your hair done. The stylists and guests all have to wear masks, stations are six feet apart and you sit in your car until they call you in. Everything was also sanitized during your visit.
But anyway, no more talk of COVID-19 and social distancing! Today I’m sharing my 3 favorite Free People Dresses for the tall girl. I’ve been trying not to shop these past couple of months but Free People marked their dresses down by half and I scooped up a couple that was on my wish list
What’s a maxi dress to most people is a midi on me. But I loved the styles and colors in this dress. My color combo is sold out but you can find three other colors here. The sleeve length was perfect on me and I belted it to define my waist. You could not belt it and it would be perfect on a warm day or as a beach coverup (whenever we can safely go to a beach again).
So technically this is a duster but I thew on a slip and called it a dress! I will say I’ll be styling this with shorts, jeans, and a tank but also love it with the slip and sassy belt. This dress is insanely comfortable, it also comes in another color!
This dress is from Free People’s FP Beach line which is more of an affordable price point. This may look like a basic little black dress but I love the detailing on the sleeves and the open back! For fellow tall girls like me, make sure you wear some kind of shorts under this mini. If the wind hit just right you might have a Marilyn moment!
