When the sun starts getting hot, I retreat to the water. There’s nothing like a cold pool on a warm day! If you’re on the tall side like me, find a swimsuit that’s long enough in the torso and has good coverage. Over the years, I’ve learned what styles and what brands work best for my long frame. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite summer swimwear pieces for tall women below!
Cute Swimwear for Tall Women
As a teenager I hated the frumpy one-pieces I wore for school events or church camp. Luckily, one-pieces have come a long way! My favorite brand for one-pieces is Aerie. They make them tall, regular, petite in curvy, and love finding swimsuits that are long enough for my torso. I’m 5’10” and wear Medium Long. The style I’m wearing below is sold out but I’ve linked some of my favorite one-pieces below!
I’m not a bikini kind of girl, at all. I don’t have the confidence to pull off a triangle top and thong and feel most comfortable in high-waisted bottoms and a longline top. I even enjoy the occasional tankini! Recently, I’ve been wearing Show Me Your Mumu swimsuits. The top I’m wearing below comes with a piece and you can transition it from a tank-style to a more knotted and fitted look. I also like the style Aerie has where the top has cap sleeves. My shoulders always get burnt so it’s nice having some coverage.
Like I said above, I’m not a bikini girl but can appreciate a cute one when I see one! The ones linked below are high-waisted (sorry, no sting thongs), and the tops have a little more coverage than your average bikini. Trust me, you’ll love them if you’re like me and not a fan of string bikinis!
