One of the questions I get asked most often is how I get my curls. Today, with a little help from my friends at T3 Micro, I’m giving you a step by step guide!
When I finish washing my hair, I wrap a towel around it for about 15 minutes. During this time I get dressed and do my make-up.
I shake my hair free and make sure to towel dry it a little bit more.
Then I get my favorite wet hair brush and run it through my hair. Brushing it straight and getting my part where I want it.
Now I get my T3 rolling brush and hairdryer and get to work. My hair is super thick and takes about 10 minutes to dry. I usually let my hair air-dry if I know I’ll be wearing my hair in a bun or pony. For some reason my curls hold better and last longer if my hair has been blow dryed.
I had to have a little fun with this!
Once your hair is completely dry it’s time for hot rollers! The T3 rollers plug in and you press an on button to warm them up.
Once they’re warm you go to work! Roll small to medium sections of hair and clip them into place.
Once you have your rollers in, I set a timer for 15 minutes. I take Gatsby out, check Instagram, make something to eat. You can do a lot in 15 minutes!
Once your 15 minutes are up you take out your rollers and viola! If you like the volume and tight curls, I wouldn’t touch your hair and spray it in place. If you like your curls loose and messy, finger brush your curls gently until you get the curls you want.
I love my T3 products and can’t imagine my hair routine without it!
