Happy July 4th weekend! We got back from our vacation in the Outerbanks, N.C. on Tuesday and loved coming home to a two-day work week. I know everyone’s plans are probably different than what they were last year but that doesn’t mean we can’t relax and enjoy this time off. My only request, whatever you do please social distance and wear a mask! Alright, off my soapbox now.
My big plans this weekend? Staying home, doing laundry, and enjoying our new backyard space! We gave our back patio a little makeover with some lights, umbrella, and fire pit and we’re back there every night with a drink in hand, enjoying the weather.
I’m usually a wine girl and switch to a dry rosé or sauvignon blanc in the summer but I occasionally enjoy a cold margarita. Since we’ve been home so much, I’ve been experimenting with different types of tequila and recipes and have found one that I like. The best part is it’s super easy to make and only has three ingredients. I thought I’d share this easy margarita recipe with you in case you wanted to try it this weekend!

It’s been too long since I’ve made a delicious margarita at home. I need to make this for my husband and myself to enjoy on a hot summer evening sometime soon. Too good!
I don’t drink much, but this sounds sooo good! I love a good margarita when it’s hot and sunny outside, which it has been at almost 100 degrees everyday for an entire week straight! Hope it’s cooler where you are!
This sounds good! I’ll try it! Thank you
