The temps are changing in Nashville! We haven’t had a cold day in a while and I think my winter coat is done for now. Nashville is still a tad chilly in the morning so if you’re visiting and going out for the day, it’s good to layer up. Nashville also experiences every season in a week in March and April. It could snow on Sunday and be 70 degrees and sunny by Wednesday! So if you’re heading to Music City I thought I’d share what to wear in Nashville in the Spring.
What to Wear in Nashville in the Spring
Denim Shirtdress
It’s Nashville, you can never have too much denim. I love this sweet little collared shirt dress. You can accessorize it however you like and roll the sleeves up if it’s warmer or style it with leggings if it’s chilly. Of course, you have to have a wide-brim fedora! (See some of my other Free People favorites here.)
Printed Sundress
If you’re wearing a quarter-sleeve dress, get it in a fun print! This Staud sundress has pops of orange and turquoise and you can style it with a denim jacket or leather jacket. See some of my favorite Staud favorites here.
Neutral Slip Dress
A slip dress is such a good versatile piece. Partner with a duster, or denim jacket, or layer an oversized sweater over. You can also wear heels, sneakers, or booties. It’s just a good core piece to have in your suitcase if you’re not sure what the weekend holds.
Warmer Pieces in Spring Colors
I can’t talk enough about fun sweats. I’ve been wearing it for weeks with sneakers or these neon heels from Seychelles. If it is chilly that doesn’t mean your colors have to be neutral and bland!
The Classic LBD
You can’t go wrong picking an LBD on your spring trip to Nashville. Black dresses are great when you’re hitting up the honky tonk’s on Broadway! I love the sleeves on this since it’s longer but has some cut-outs in the sleeve to make it more flirty.
