Who else can’t believe that memorial day is right around the corner? This year is flying by and it’s crazy how fast life is moving. December is my favorite month (duh, Christmas), but May has to be in my number 2 spot. May brings the return of wearing white, lake days, warmer days, more sunshine and of course Memorial Day. I love celebrating Memorial Day and honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. My brother was in the Marines so we take Memorial Day seriously! I’ve already got my red, white and blue Memorial Day outfits ready and thought I’d share my four favorites with you in today’s post.
4 Memorial Day Outfits for the Tall Woman
Red, White & Blue Dress
I love this Red, White & Blue Dress from Petal & Pup. As soon as I saw it, I thought it would be perfect for Memorial Day and the 4th of July. It’s unfortunately sold out but I’ve linked my favorite red dresses from Petal & Pup below. Here is a code for 15% off all orders through June 1: 15GRETA
Light Jacket & Denim Shorts
I got this jacket a few years ago during the Ford x Forever 21 collaboration since both of my brothers have Mustangs. This jacket is sold out so your best luck would be trying to find it on Poshmark. It’s perfect for spring evenings that are on the verge of summer but still a little chilly. And of course, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Madewell shorts. They’re my favorite!
Halter Top & Wide Legged Pants
Nothing says summer like a halter top! I love this red, white and blue tie dye and it’s so comfortable. You can wear this with a denim skirt, cut-off shorts or some wide legged jeans. I love these jeans for a retro 70’s look.
Tee & Cut-Off Shorts
My classic, go-to… a tee and denim shorts! Both of these pieces are from Amazon and I’m wearing a medium in both pieces. I do wish I had sized up to a large in the shorts for a more relaxed look but they fit fine. I also love this causal tee, it’s so fun to dress up and down depending on your Memorial Day activities.
