We’ve all heard the phrase, April showers bring May flowers. While that’s a beautiful sentiment, there’s nothing fun about getting caught in the rain. You wear shoes that won’t ruin, make sure the hem of your jeans don’t get wet, and rain ruins a good hair day. Luckily, rainy day accessories can be pretty dang cute. Check out some of my favorites below.
Best Rainy Day Accessories That Will Brighten Up your Mood
Rain Coats
I personally love raincoats that are PVC and more see-through. If you want practical North Face does it the best! With us being on the brink of summer, some high-quality raincoats and jackets are going on sale if you want to keep your eye on a few and snag a good deal.
Umbrellas
Why settle for boring umbrellas when you can have a cute one?! Kate Spade makes really cute umbrellas if you don’t mind spending $30-$50. My favorites are the clear umbrellas from Target. They have good coverage and are at decent prices. I like being able to see through them when I’m walking in a heavy rainstorm.
Rain Boots
Wearing sneakers or sandals in the rain is no bueno. Plus sandals can be slippery. Rain boots keep your feet dry and give good support and traction against the wet ground. Hunter boots are my favorite! Sperry makes great boots as well.
Bucket Hats
Why waste a good hair day? Leave your hair as is and throw on a bucket hat. You can get a PVC or a regular one if your head is protected under a hood. I just love the style and save them for rainy days.

I have a Lululemon rain jacket that I get excited to wear during storms!
This is just a reminder that I am always ill prepared for the rain and could use some rain friendly (and cute) gear. Love these options! xoxo, Sarah
These are cute options! I love Kate Spade’s umbrella assortment too!

My rainy day essential is a clear rain coat! You can still see my outfit underneath. I don’t use umbrellas much because the rain actually helps my hair texture
