This was byfar the busiest and best day of NYFW. This day was so packed full, when I left the hotel that morning I knew I wouldn’t be back until late! So I packed portable chargers and snacks in my bag, put insoles in my boots and hit the ground running!
Day 4 of NYFW
The first show of the day was Francesca Liberatore. We didn’t have the best seats so my photos didn’t turn out very well. There were lots of bold patterns, plunging necklines and cinched waists!
We didn’t have to go far for the next show and got to sit front row at Dan Liu. The models had peacock feathers as eyebrows and there was so much lace and pretty florals. It was my first time sitting front row at a show and it was so exciting!
After this I had a break so Alicia and I grabbed some greasy pizza and burgers and went to this huge camera store to get her a memory card for her camera.
After this we walked to the Vogue Magazine brunch and movie screening of Dior and I. It was nice to sit for a second and hydrate. I’d also never seen the movie before, and you know I love a good fashion movie!
We had a little bit of time after the Vogue event so we stopped and took some photos on some fun side streets. This purple floral dress is from ASOS and was so comfortable! It also had the prettiest flared sleeves. Did I mention that this purple floral dress is under $50?!
Since I had such a busy day planned, I needed an outfit to take me from shows to events, and this purple floral dress did the trick. I also needed footwear that was sassy but practical! These Steve Madden booties kept me comfortable all day. I added my grey leather jacket and the ensemble was complete!
After photos, we headed to Leanne Marshall‘s Spring 2018 collection. We got to sit front row at this show as well. I loved the bright colors and feminine silhouettes at LM. The entire show was like a dream!
After LM we went to another Vogue event. This time with Free People. The Coat Check event was a beautiful rooftop party with new FP coats. I saw so many of my favorite blogger babes there!
After hanging out at the Coat Check event. It was late and I hadn’t been back to the hotel all day! It was time to go and pack my bags and have Shake Shack delivered to the hotel.
My first fashion week was definitely a learning experience. I thought I knew what to expect and know what to do and not do next season. I will say that this won’t be my last fashion week!
Absolutely love that dress, the FP coat check looked amazing, love the fluffy blue number!
Birdie Shoots
What a cute outfit, I would totally wear it!
Ahhh….love that dress paired with the jacket and booties!! Had THE best time at NYFW last month and it was so great getting to meet you too!!
You look amazing! I love NYFW and can’t wait to go back this fall!
