Post Card Cabins Nashville Review

May 8, 2026

This Post Card Cabins Nashville review is in collaboration with Post Card Cabins. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Have you heard of Post Card Cabins (formerly Getaway House)? Post Card Cabins is a network of tiny cabins nestled in the heart of nature. They have locations all over the country and last weekend I was invited to the anniversary of their Nashville outpost in Dale Hollow. I’m going to share a little more about Post Card Cabins and what to do at their Nashville location!

Post Card Cabins Nashville Review

Post Card Cabins is a tiny cabin that is just big enough for two people. Each cabin has a queen-sized bed or queen bunk, mini-fridge, radio, hot shower, toilet, sink with drinking water, a two-burner stove, and AC/Heat. One thing that you won’t find at Post Card Cabins is WiFi and a TV. In fact, the idea is to lock up your cell phone and not check it the entire weekend. We didn’t even have service where we were!

The Nashville Dale Hollow Outpost

Post Card Cabins is about a two-hour drive from Nashville in Celina, TN. The closest store nearby was Dollar General. You can either grab a few items there or bring them with you. You can either cook your food in the cabin or out over the fire. Tim made a delicious meal on the stove that was divine!

We also brought our two black lab mixes, Gatsby and Fitzy with us. With dogs, you have to let them know when you book your reservation. You also can’t leave them in the cabin unattended and when out have to be on a leash at all times. Luckily there were multiple hiking trails around our cabin so the girls were good and tired.

After dinner, head outside to the campfire! Post Card Cabins has firewood for sale in addition to s’mores ingredients if you forgot them. Out there we looked at the stars, talked, and sipped wine while we enjoyed each other’s company. All fires are out by 10 p.m. so we got ready for bed and read a book until we fell asleep.

Some other things you can do to unplug and meditate, do a puzzle, play a board game, tell ghost stories around the fire, or just soak in nature.

When we woke up, we made coffee, opened the shades, and enjoyed our morning caffeine from bed. Then we made breakfast and spent the rest of our time outside. Check-out is at 11 a.m. so we took the girls for a quick walk and headed back to Nashville.

I’ve always wanted to check out one of the outposts near me in Charlotte, but I don’t know if I can *totally* go off-grid like that (I’d like to think I could, but it worries me a bit!). Do you know if all of their locations are out of range of cell service?

I was never out of cell service when I was there! There’s just no wifi or TV. They also have lock boxes to put your phone in to help disconnect!

I love that this place is pet friendly! We live about an hour south of Nashville but it would be so fun to do a staycation this summer here! Thanks for sharing!
