It’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I’m finally getting around to showing you some of my NYFW photos! So let’s start at the beginning.
Polka Dots at the Brooklyn Bridge + Day 1 & 2 of NYFW Recap
I left the Nashville airport at 6:30 a.m. and got to New York around 10 a.m. ET. I grabbed my luggage and took a bus and subway to get into the city. I’m so directionally challenged, I was terrified to take the bus and subway by myself but I made it and it was so much cheaper than an Uber or Lyft!
I checked into my hotel, the Park South hotel, had a quick chance to settle in and went to my first showroom. First up was H&M! I’m loving so many things from the current collection and upcoming holiday line. Below are a few of my favorites.
After H&M, I went back to my hotel and changed for my next showroom visit at Bauble Bar. Their showroom had current and upcoming pieces that I instantly fell in love with. They also had the yummiest refreshments! I was able to grab some water and a s’mores donut for some sugar before my first show.
After having some fun at Bauble Bar, I headed to Tadashi Shoji for an amazing show. At this show I saw a lot of color, florals, tassels and sheer panels. (Photos from Vogue)
Once the show was over I was famished! So I went out with my roomies and some other Houston bloggers for steak and fries at Le Relais De Venise L’Enrecôte.
After that my roomie Alicia and I went to Arno to meet up with some other bloggers. It’s so much fun meeting other bloggers in person that you’ve been following forever. You feel like you know each other in real life!
We were up bright and early to take photos at the Brooklyn Bridge. The photos turned out so fun but behind the scenes we were trying to avoid crazy cyclists and the morning rush! See the fun photos below.
This polka dot wrap dress from ASOS was such a fun dress. It had ruffles along the sleeves and bottom, a plunging neckline and was under $50!
After taking photos, it was a quick change and off to the Eliza J showroom. We got to see some fun pieces for holiday, I have my eye on a navy velvet jumpsuit! I took a ton of Instastories while I was there but forgot to save them to my phone.
After Eliza J, I went back to our hotel for some much needed sleep! I slept a couple hours and got ready for the night’s festivities. It started with a hangout on the rooftop bar of the Park South Hotel. I met a few more bloggers that I’ve followed for years there. It was so exciting to meet them in person!
After this I went to the Grammercy Hotel for Nicole Miller’s presentation. This event was PACKED! I love Nicole Miller’s pieces. They’re so put together and so New York. I got an urban safari vibe from the collection. It was hard for me to get a good photo so the photos below are c/o Vogue.
