How’s everyone doing? It’s been over a week since I published here and if you’ve been watching the news you know why. With the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Aubrey, and countless others, we are all devastated that their loved ones will never see them again while being angry that this keeps happening over and over again. In the social space, bloggers and content creators muted themselves and didn’t post their regular content on their social channels for a week.
Alishia McCullough and Jessica Wilson created the #AmplifyMelanatedVoicesMovement and challenged everyone to pause their content and amplify the voices of other Black bloggers, creators, and activists so their important messages on Black Lives Matter would be what people see when they scroll through Instagram. It’s been a week of listening, learning, researching, reading, and doing so much. It’s been educational and I’ll be sharing more resources and things to help this movement in the weeks to come.
Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite spring trends; exaggerated sleeves! Check out the fun top I got on sale at Shopbop, some other exaggerated sleeve favorites, and a giveaway!
One of my Favorite Spring Trends: Exaggerated Sleeves
I love exaggerated or puff sleeves because they make a statement enough in itself and you don’t have to accessorize too much. In this outfit, I didn’t have any jewelry and just wore jeans and pumps. It spices up an outfit while adding a little drama. So fun!
