If you thought day 1 of New York Fashion week was busy, day 2 is a doozy! This was probably the most jam-packed day of NYFW. If you want to schedule meetings with brands and showrooms, you have to do it during a weekday, hence why this day was so crazy. Let’s begin!
NYFW Day 2
The morning started with breakfast with the influencer marketing director at Charlotte Tilbury. It was wonderful learning about this brand and talking through all the make-up I just received from them. I’ve been using their primer, highlighter, blush, eyeliner, and blush and it’s been a game-changer for me!
Next up was the H&M Showroom. This is one of my favorite parts of fashion week in New York. I got to see some of their upcoming collections and they gave me a few looks to wear. The looks aren’t on their site yet and I plan on featuring those looks in another post.
Next was Kate Spade x Women’s Wear Daily with Samsung. We got to see the Kate Spade show from earlier in the day and then there was a Q&A with Nicola Glass the new creative director of Kate Spade and Anna Bakst, the CEO of Kate Spade. It was interesting hearing how these ladies are updating the Kate Spade brand!
After Kate Spade, we went to the Eliza J showroom. I got my nails down with Paintbox and got to view Eliza J’s new spring 2019 collection. Eliza J knows how to make dresses for the everyday girl so I’m excited to get to wear these designs next year.
My only show of the day was Michael Costello at Spring Studios.
I hadn’t been to a Michael Costello show before but it was so much fun! I got to see my BFF Rachel there and enjoy an amazing show.

After that, I headed back to Samsung for the Women’s Wear Daily event. They partnered with Kenneth Cole on some heels that have AMAZING support. I want them in every color.
The WWD x Samsung event was all about tech and they had some amazing demonstrations. This might be one of my new favorite events to attend!
The last event of the day was Lulu’s Style Studio. You walk in and get to pick an item from Lulu’s “studio”. I got this pretty maxi dress and lion earrings! I don’t have any photos from this event but it was so much fun!
Since I was so busy, I didn’t have the chance to change all day. So I wore this white dress from ASOS with a bronze metallic back. My necklace is old from Kate Spade and my white boots are from Marc Fisher. I popped in a Zara to do a little shopping and saw this bronze headband. So I added I added it to my outfit for the day.
You really combined fashion and function well with this look! It’s very avent gaurd but can still be worn all day comfortably!
