Let me preface this post by saying I am not a beauty expert. I’ve been doing the same makeup routine for almost ten years. I love a neutral eye, cat eyeliner and the bare minimum on my face. Add a pop of color on the lip and I’m good to go! The best part of my beauty routine is that it only takes 15 minutes! I’m going to walk you through the full look below.
My 15-Minute Everyday Makeup Look
Urban Decay ‘Born to Run’ Palette
I always start my makeup routine with eyeshadow. That way if it falls underneath my eyes I can clean it off without ruining anything else. This palette is great because it has some great neutrals as well as a lot of colors if you like a colorful eye. Have fun and find the right color combo for you!
Tarte Shape Tape
The next step is putting a few drops of Tarte Shape Tape under my eyes. I put about three dots under my eyes and either get a beauty blender or use my finger to pat and rub it in. It helps me look less tired and like I had a good night’s sleep!
Pixi Blush
Get some rose cheeks with Pixi’s Nuance Quartette Sugar Blossom. I have a lot of red in my complexion to begin with so I stick to the brown tones. I love a little light blush to give me a little color and shimmer.
Urban Decay Beached Bronzer
In the summer instead of contouring, I use a little bronzer. I put it on my forehead, jawline, and underneath my cheekbones. It helps you have a little glow and give you a sunkissed look!
NYX Highlight and Countour Stick
The final step on my face is highlighting. I put it above my cheekbones, down my nose and chin. Then use a beauty blender to blend it in and highlight your face! A lot of gals have powder and foundation and all those other products but my skin is so oily. I worry about products clogging my pores and breaking out. I mainly focus on my eyes!
NYX White Eyeliner
I love this jumbo white eyeliner that I put under my brows, in the corner of my eye, and the lower lid. It helps brighten the area around your eyes and let it pop!
Maybelline Black Eyeliner
If you want to define your lower lid, line half of it with black. Or if you’re going for a more dramatic look, line all of the lower lids!
Pixi Lower Lash Mascara
Pixi makes a lower lash mascara that helps your lashes pop! Sometimes if you use a regular mascara it can make your lower lids look clumpy. This mascara is the perfect size to give your lashes a boost.
Revlon ColorStay Skinny Liquid Liner
This is my go-to for my cat-eye. It’s so easy to put on and lasts all day which is great if you’re a girl on the go!
Viviene Sabo Cabaret Mascara
There are a lot of mascara that I’ve used and loved but my favorite right now is Viviene Sabo. It’s not clumpy and goes on so nicely. It’s great for every day!
The last step of my beauty routine is to fill in my brows. My brows are microbladed so they don’t need a ton of work, just fill in some places. After my brows are filled in, I’m done and ready to go!
