We had an unexpected extension to our trip to Greece, two days in London! It’s funny because on our last London trip earlier this month it was summer and warm. Fast forward until now and fall is in full swing!
I was so surprised when I hopped off the subway (or the tube) and I needed a jacket. A quick look at the weather showed me that mid to low sixties were the temps during this London trip. It’s not just the weather, the leaves are starting to fall! This weather had me so excited, I pulled out a sweater dress I bought when we were in London at the beginning of the month.
London Trip in the Fall: Fall Outfit
When I walked out in this outfit, my husband mentioned that it looked like the nineties were back. I love that sweater dresses and sneakers are in style together! I was able to look cute and be warm but still, be comfortable in my sneakers. I’d been eyeing these sneakers for a long time but didn’t want to spend much on another pair of tennis shoes. I found these Adidas on sale one day and snatched them up! They’ve been such a great addition to my wardrobe!
Our fall London trip included lots of hot chocolate, walking around in Hyde Park, St. James Park, and Kensington Gardens, and exploring the Camden Market. We also got to visit Abbey Road! It was nice to just walk in the cool, crisp air and enjoy our time without rushing. Very idyllic! London is one of my favorite cities, I know in a week or two I’ll be wishing I was back.
Of course, this is all short-lived. It’s still 90+ degrees in Nashville!
As for me, my traveling days are over for a while. We got back home yesterday morning and were so happy to see Gatsby and Fitzy and crash in my own bed. My days are going to be full of laundry, grocery shopping, and catching up on emails!
