If you look at photos from me this time last year, you’ll notice my hair was a waaayyyy different color. I went platinum blonde last July and I absolutely LOVED my six months as a blonde. What didn’t like my platinum locks? My hair. Luckily for my hair, there are Pantene® Intense Rescue Shots.
After going blonde, my hair was brittle, dry, stopped growing, and was an all-around mess. After six months, my colorist and I decided that my hair had had enough; and we switched back to my natural brunette shade.
Since then, I’ve been working hard on rebooting my hair. For the past 7 months, I’ve only been washing my hair 1-2 times a week, limiting heat like a curling iron and hairdryer, and frequently doing conditioning masks once a week.
I was at my local Dollar General earlier this month and while I was picking up a few items, I saw that Pantene® had a product called Pantene® Intense Rescue Shots. They were running a special, save $1 off one or $5 off three on Pantene® products, Rescue Shots included, at Dollar General. (You can click this link to save and take advantage of this deal). I decided to give the Rescue Shots a try; at this point, my hair needs all the help it can get!
I used the Rescue Shots on my hair that weekend and was so pleased with the results! Today, I thought I’d share with you what these shots are, what they do, and how to use them.
1: After washing hair with Pantene shampoo and conditioner, dispense the ampoule into your hand.
2: Apply onto damp hair and massage from mid-length to ends.
3: Rinse thoroughly.
The Pantene Intense Rescue Shots are deep conditioners that are recommended for use as often as once a week or as infrequently as once per month. The Rescue Shots are so easy to use and are Pantene’s first at-home rescue treatment.
Since I do a conditioning mask once a week, I use a Rescue Shot once a week. In just one use, they noticeably repair the damage! My dry, brittle hair was soft, shiny, and more resilient. To me, these do exactly what they’re supposed to do: rescue my hair!
If you want to try these Rescue Shots for yourself, grab a pack of three at your local Dollar General!
