I pride myself on being organized and on top of everything. I’m the type of person who loves getting organized, making lists, and getting stuff done. Sundays are my day to get everything ready for the week. Today, I thought I’d share how to get ready for the week on Sunday and give you a few ideas on how to start the week off on the right foot.
How to Get Ready for the Week
Ironing
Call me old-fashioned, but I still iron my husband’s dress shirts and my dresses. You should always look your best! I’ve used Faultless® Niagara Original Ironing Spray for a while now and it’s such a game-changer. It gives my clothing a professional look without the professional price! This spray is used by dry cleaners and is a fraction of the price of professional laundering. See the difference in my husband’s dress shirt:
Using Faultless® Niagara Original Ironing Spray is so easy:
- First off, do not use this on garments labeled ‘Dry Clean Only’!
- Line up button with red dot.
- Shake well before and during use.
- Use steam or dry iron at the recommended fabric setting.
- Hold can 6 to 10 inches from the fabric.
- Spray entire garment lightly and evenly.
- For additional stiffness, re-spray and iron again.
Niagara Ironing Spray may not be available in all areas, but the same company also makes Faultless and Magic Ironing Sprays. You can find them all at faultless.com.

Laundry
Sunday is my laundry day. I get everything washed so that we have clean clothes for the week and they’re put away in their proper place. It’s the worst when you’re looking for your favorite top Tuesday before work and it’s dirty.
Grocery Shop
I hate grocery shopping with a passion; walking around a store while trying to find everything on my list drives me nuts. I order everything online and go pick it up Sunday night.
Meal Prep
I work from home so meal prepping isn’t for me, but my husband works and likes having meals for the week. So we’ll plan out what we’re going to eat and on what day so we won’t eat out a lot.
Update Calendar
We have a calendar on a fridge with our schedules for the week. Every Sunday, I make updates and changes to our week so we know what’s going on.
this sounds like a great product! i also like to get the groceries for the week – really makes a difference when Monday rolls around!

I love prepping for the coming week on Sundays, it helps me feel so put together and ready to take on Monday! We usually clean the house, do laundry and make a to do list for the coming week so we know what we need to get done starting Monday!

Ever since I got my steamer my iron has been collecting dust, there are even times when I have something small like a fabric belt on a dress and I will just use my flat iron to do it! However I suppose dress shirts are a bit different, so I’m glad you found a product that makes the annoyance of ironing a bit easier!
Chic on the Cheap
This ironing spray sounds magical! I need to pick up a few laundry items at the store this week and will have to give this a try!

This product seems like it works great! I need to try it!
I have to stay organized throughout out the week or i’ll go crazy! I also hate going grocery shopping. It’s the worst!
I like to get ready for the week on Sunday too! Which always includes laundry .. but I need to get better about ironing then too .. I seem to just do it on an “as needed” basis.
