Last week, I got to spend the night at a new boutique hotel in Nashville called SoBro Guest House. I went to their grand opening a few months ago and fell in love with the unique concept. The hotel is converted apartments that have a living room, kitchen and bedroom with the most adorable decor.
SoBro was kind enough to host me last Saturday just in time for my birthday. They stocked the fridge full of great snacks and we had such an amazing time. Since it’s not every day you get to celebrate your birthday in an awesome hotel, we asked some friends to come over and celebrate with us.
We got the party started by putting on some vinyl, catching up and snacking on cheese, pizza and M&M’s. Once out guests left for the night, Tim and I stretched out on the king sized bed and watched old Friends re-runs until the wee-hours of the morning.
We slept in, took our time and enjoyed a nice leisurely breakfast before the birthday festivities began.
If you’re visiting Nashville, SoBro House is the place to be. It’s within walking distance to Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Bridgestone Arena and other music venues. I loved having a fridge, oven, stove and microwave since we could stay in and cook instead of going out (but the hotel is right behind Martin’s BBQ so you need to eat there). Groceries can be delivered right to your door, they’ll even stock the kitchen with your favorites before you arrive.
The hotel is also solely run online. They know the fuss of a front desk isn’t what you’re coming to town for, so they didn’t even build one! Your mobile device is all you need for a simple, stress-free check-in. Use your cellphone number and email to book your stay, and they’ll do the rest.
I recommend this to anyone staying in Nashville and if you’re visiting, come hang out at SoBro House. If you love Instagrammable places, this place is it!
