Hollar Homemade: Easy Sausage Balls Recipe

May 1, 2020

My mom is an amazing cook, she does all of our birthday and holiday meals and nails it. I’m not such a great cook. I need recipes to be super easy and I’m not very creative in the kitchen. I usually avoid cooking at all costs, but in the COVID-19 age, I’m having to work on my chef skills.

One thing I love that my mom makes? She makes the yummiest sausage balls! They’re the perfect thing if you’re hosting a breakfast or brunch or need an easy appetizer for an event. My mom shared the recipe with me and I’m excited to share her easy sausage balls recipe! Prepare to have your mind blown by how easy these are to make.

Hollar Homemade: Easy Sausage Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sausage
  • 3 cups of Bisquick mix
  • 10 oz. package of shredded cheese

Directions

  • Mix all of the ingredients together with (clean) hands.
  • When mixed well, shape into small balls.
  • Place on a cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350º oven of 15-20 minutes

I also love these because you can make them and then put them in a container in the freezer and use it when needed. I usually make a large batch and have some in the freezer for when I need them. When I said easy – I meant easy! Less than three ingredients and so easy to make.

I’m keeping up with my weekly cocktail and food recipes, you can check them all out here! But I need a little help on what to make next. Do you want more appetizer recipes? Desserts? Share with me in a comment below and I’ll give it a shot! Also, let me know if you try any of my recipes and what you think of them!

These are what dreams are made of! My mouth literally started watering because I loved these as a kid. I wonder if I replaced them with some beyond sausage or something similar if they’d taste as good.
