This post is a little late, but I figured it can never be too late to share a recap for a girl’s weekend! In August, I headed to Memphis, TN with Rachel of Love from Rachel and Michelle of Modern Day Moguls.
Visit Memphis, put together such a fun itinerary for us. I’m going to share a few places to eat, shop, visit, and stay during a Memphis weekend trip!
The Ultimate Memphis Weekend Trip:
We stayed at the Hotel Napoleon. It’s one of Memphis’ newest boutique hotel. The location was perfect and we were within walking distance of The Peabody Hotel and Beale Street.
This hotel is so trendy and beautiful. Enjoy the glitz, glam and comfy beds!
The Gray Canary: We drove into town and treated ourselves to a lovely Dinner at the Gray Canary. The menu changes almost monthly but we had the best meal I’ve ever had! The decor is also the dreamiest!
City & State: While you’re out exploring Broad Street, stop at the adorable City & State for coffee. This coffee shop is artisan-centric that celebrates quality, heritage, and fair trade. Grab a coffee and shop their unique and one of a kind items!
The Liquor Store: Next to City & State is the oh so Instagrammable Liquor Store. We enjoyed fun breakfast drinks, homemade pop tarts, and other breakfast foods. This was one of my favorite spots!
Milk Dessert Bar: Do you love crazy milkshakes? Get your sweet tooth on at the Milk Dessert Bar. The line and wait was crazy on a weekend but these were so worth it.
Loflin Yard: If you want a perfect hang out spot with good food, amazing outdoor space and laid back vibes, this is the place. You order all food through a patio window and find a spot to camp out. We ate a lot of great food here.
Beauty Shop: The Beauty Shop is a must every time I’m in Memphis. They hands down win best brunch and best vibe in my book!
Broad Street: Broad street has restaurants like City & State and The Liquor Store but there’s also great shopping, antiquing and places to take cute photos!
Mural Hunting: I posted my favorite murals in Memphis a few months ago. The city is so full of colorful and beautiful pieces. They’re fun gems to drive around and find!
Peabody Hotel: The Peabody is a Memphis landmark. We spent almost an entire day at the Peabody getting pampered in the spa, having high tea, watching the ducks and enjoying the fabulous view! I have to say we especially enjoyed the sauna, manicures and massages at the Feathers Spa!
Ikea: Tennessee has one Ikea and it’s in Memphis. If you’re close you definitely stop and pick up a few pieces. Plus its fun going with girlfriends and being extra!
