Being an adult can be awesome. You can have chocolate cake for dinner, go to bed whenever you want, blast your rock music, watch that scary movie, basically do all the things you might not have been able to do as a kid/teenager.
But on the other hand, it really sucks. You understand why your parents stressed about money and bills. It’s expensive to be a living human! You have a mortgage, electric bill, water, insurance, and taxes. Then there are physicals, eye exams, teeth cleaning, hair appointments, brow waxing, and all of the health and hygiene things you need as an adult.
Getting Back on Track Financially:
I went to college when the recession hit in 2008. Not only did I take out student loans where my interest rates are almost 10%, but I also went to a private university. So at 29, I have all the bills and responsibilities an adult has but I also feel crippled by my student loan debt.
On top of all that, I’m self-employed and didn’t have health insurance last year. Well, that happened to be the year I had to have surgery and of course paid all out of pocket. So on top of bills and student loans I also have medical bills. Did I also mention my car is 10 years old and on its last leg?
I’m not telling you all this for sympathy. I’m telling you to be honest that life is tough. Especially when unexpected things pop out of the blue and leave you wondering how much you could sell your kidney for extra cash.
Honestly, I was a little down at the end of the year trying to figure out how to pay my bills. But I resolved that 2019 I’m getting back on track financially. One of those things would be my credit score. My credit score is decent, but like the overachiever I am, I want it to be better. After a little research, I found Lexington Law Firm.
Lexington Law Firm is the oldest and most respected name in credit repair, and the only player in the category with the legal experience and technology to both advocate and drive results for consumers. Through my consultation, we assessed my current credit situation and talked about how a late payment or derogatory mark from a creditor may seem harmless. But it can have long-standing consequences, in some instances staying on your report for seven years. How crazy is that?!
Improving one’s credit score may take time, but it can be done. Every consumer has the right to good credit and the law is on their side to help them fix mistakes. Lexington Law believes that you have a right to a fair, accurate, and substantiated credit report and they can navigate the credit repair process by harnessing the power of knowledge and the law to fight for their clients’ rights to good credit.
Lexington Law is a trusted company and a CROA (Consumer Credit Protection Act) compliant organization. This means it is regulated extensively with auditors and regulators. Just as one would hire a CPA or MD to manage their taxes or health, consumers should demand nothing less from their credit repair partner. They also have long-standing relationships with Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. These relationships enable the team to communicate more routinely and efficiently for their clients.
I feel so much better after my consultation and have goals and plans for getting back on track financially this year. If you have questions about how to improve your credit score or want to use Lexington Law Firm, they offer packages that meet every client’s needs, starting at just $24.95 per month. Learn more here.
