We’re halfway through September and past Labor Day and although it’s still hot outside, fall fashion is in full swing! I didn’t go to New York Fashion Week this year but I’ve been keeping up with the street style looks and have picked up on 2024 trends for fall that I’m so excited about. I’ve been photographing a lot of fall looks before I start to travel more at the end of the month and I’m excited to show you some trends I love and how I style them.
Fall Fashion Trends: 5 Trends I’m Loving
Leopard Print
I shared a post about my favorite leopard print pieces back in August but I’m loving this fun print in all of my fall clothing and accessories! Leopard print is basically a neutral since it has black, brown and tan in the print. I say pair leopard pants with a fun band tee or a leopard dress with your favorite sneakers.
Mad for Plaid
As a southern girl, plaid is always in my wardrobe but this kind of plaid is different. It’s not so much a gingham, flannel kind of plaid but like a country house chic. Think relaxed layers, long skirts and dressing like you’re about to go to your English country house.
Denim and More Denim
Did someone say Canadian tuxedo? Get those denim shirts out to wear with your favorite jeans or skirts. I even loved mismatched denim or two tone. One thing you won’t find me wearing though is the denim maxi skirts, I can’t get on that trend.
Faux Fur
Boy am I glad faux fur is in style. I have so many faux fur jackets to break out, I can’t wait! I love them in all kinds of colors that are perfect to throw on over a casual outfit and instantly feel more put together and fabulous.
Riding Boots
I mentioned a plaid, english country side style above, and top your outfit off with riding boots. Style this fall is very Ralph Lauren and equestrian. I have so many pairs of riding boots that I’m excited to pull out and style this fall.
