Top 5 Best Blogging Apps and Services Worth Paying for your Blog

February 28, 2020

This post about the best blogging apps and services contains affiliate links.

Having a blog makes it look like I hang out all day looking glamorous in full hair and makeup, playing dress-up and writing about it. Most of the time I’m on the couch in sweats doing a million things at once. Operating a blog full-time takes a village. Luckily, there are a few services that I use/pay for that makes it a lot easier for me. I thought I’d share a few with you today in hopes that it would help you too!

Top 5 Best Blogging Apps and Services Worth Paying for your Blog

Tailwind

A lot of my blog traffic comes from Pinterest and that’s a big thanks to Tailwind. With Tailwind, you schedule pins to be scheduled to your best boards at optimal times. If you have content that does better than others, you can schedule it to a loop where it’s repinned once a month or so. It’s $15 a month and worth every penny!

Flodesk

I used Mailchimp for years and HATED it. I think that’s why my newsletter was so inconsistent for a while. I switched to Flodesk a few months ago and have loved it ever since. The price doesn’t fluctuate based on subscribers and their templates are so sleek! Use this link and get 50% off your Flodesk subscription so you only pay $19 a month! (Also, if you want to see my weekly newsletter before you purchase, you can subscribe here.)

Lightroom

I like all of my photos to have the same lighting and feel so I pay $11 a month for Apple to keep Lightroom on my laptop. Lightroom is super easy to use and I bought my presets on Etsy. I also watched a lot of YouTube videos when I started using Lightroom and it helped so much!

SEO

I use Clem SEO to help optimize posts on my blog. SEO is such an important part of a blog and the jargon goes over my head sometimes so I’m glad I have someone to take the stress out of it and do it for me!

Photoshop

Another app always running on my laptop is Photoshop. It’s so nice to have on hand if you have a noticeable zit on your photos, flyaway hair, wrinkles in your clothes, or the background has trash on the ground.

What would you consider to be the best blogging apps?  Let me know in a comment below!

Love Tailwind!! My favorite! Okay I am still on Mailchimp. I need to check out Flodesk! My cost is going up with Mailchimp and they aren’t compatible with Shopify anymore!
