Do you ever feel the overwhelming urge to just get out of your house? I have been feeling that way over the past couple of weeks. I have laundry everywhere, a million things that need to get done and even though I have 24 hours in a day, I never have enough time to get everything done. Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t help you feel rested either! So, I decided that before the holiday season gets crazy, I was going to treat myself to one night in a hotel a little outside of town.
My brother lives in Lebanon and I’ve seen a new avid Hotel next to the interstate. I was already planning on hanging out with my brother in Lebanon one night so instead of going the 45 minutes’ back home, I checked into the avid Hotel Nashville-Lebanon. Learn all about my stay and this hotel below!
A Week Night Stay at the avid Hotel Nashville TN
What is avid?

A Little About the Hotel
avid Hotels are designed for travelers who want a hotel stay that finally meets their expectations for the type of hospitality they value the most – the basics done exceptionally well, at a fair price. avid is a brand that appreciates the value of guests’ hard-earned dollars and being direct, honest and clear.
The avid Hotels are new-build construction and are designed the same for consistency and reliability. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the latest technology is offered to enable a seamless experience for guests. The design choices are bright, uplifting and inviting. I love the pops of turquoise blue!

How Was My Stay?
Even though it was just for a night, it was just what I needed! I loved the rooms. They’re small and cozy with pegs and hangers for clothes, a bench with a fridge underneath, a dedicated workspace and a bed. All you need! It also had a good size bathroom with a luxurious walk in shower and plenty of storage. The room was also clean and cozy with an inviting bed and great design. Just right!
I checked in, had a hot shower, watched a little reality TV and was out like a light. The avid Hotel Nashville – Lebanon has shades that completely darken the room. SO, no matter the time of day, it stays nice and dark helping you to have undisturbed sleep. I slept for a solid 12 hours and had the best night’s rest. I love a King-sized bed to myself so it was nice not having to share the bed with my husband and two dogs!

After I got up and ready, I headed downstairs for their complimentary breakfast. They had coffee, cereal, fruit and more. The perfect way to start the day! The breakfast bar had several high-quality, brand-name options that are great to grab and go.
There are three avid locations in the Nashville area; Lebanon, Smyrna and the Nashville airport. There are also 40+ locations and 175+ locations opening soon! avid does the basics exceptionally well and would book again in a heartbeat. See if there’s an avid Hotel near you and book here!
