This post about my stay at the Gilded in Newport RI is written in collaboration. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A few weeks ago I was road tripping through New England with my mom. We decided to stop in Newport, RI for a day to see some of the historic homes there and stayed at the Gilded Hotel.
The Gilded Newport, RI Review
I had seen the Gilded Hotel on Instagram and was already obsessed with their colorful decor. You walk through the front door and to the left you see a room with bright pink wallpaper and turquoise and purple sofas. Gold bookshelves and accessories are scattered around the room and you immediately want to grab a cocktail and lounge in this room.
This is just the start of all the fabulous decor and charm you’ll see when you stay at the Gilded Newport (a Lark property). We loved all the color, wallpaper, and light fixtures scattered through the property. Today I’m excited to share photos from our stay at the Newport Gilded Hotel!
We stayed on the third floor and our room had a living room which included a fireplace and sofa and a bedroom with a king-size bed. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfortable! Not to mention, the hotel staff was so kind and helped us carry our bags up to our room.
If you want you can stay in and play billiards, read on the front porch, or stay in your room. If not, the Gilded Newport is in a great location and you’re a short walk from everything. We went walking on the waterfront and enjoyed all the stores and restaurants on the wharf. Definitely, plan on staying for their complimentary breakfast. It was delicious!
