A few weeks ago, I grabbed my bestie and took a fun road trip to Columbus, Ohio! It’s only about six hours from Nashville and we drove up for the weekend to see the city of Columbus and to watch my friends brother open for Kane Brown. We knew when we were planning our trip that we wanted to stay at the new Graduate Hotel Columbus. Graduate always have the best hotels and I love how the decor varies from city to city! Today I’m giving you a little peek of the hotel and why you should stay there.
A stay at the Graduate Hotel Columbus, OH
Located in the heart of the Short North Arts District, the Graduate Columbus is just a quick trip to Ohio State University and downtown Columbus. Settle into the warm, tailored spaces, where plaids in scarlet and gray mix with gold-medal-worthy details.
Every detail has something to do with the Columbus area, whether it’s Eddie George and Patricia Heaton on the keycards to local history framed on the walls. The wall paper in the lobby had people spelling out O-H-I-O and the chairs had Buckeye quotes and themes in the dining room. The plaid, wood paneling and cozy vibes reminded me of a cabin or lodge. You felt right at home and wanted to curl up on the plaid couches with a book.

There was only two of us so we stayed in a room with one king bed. The Graduate King rooms include one comfy king bed, a work station and a lounge chair, giving you space to stretch out after a Buckeye victory. Clad in plaid and decked out with nods to Ohio history, these guest rooms are distinctly Columbus. The beds were insanely comfortable, I had an amazing nights sleep the two days we were there!

They also had bikes you could rent and ride around town. Like I said above, the Graduate Columbus is in the heart of the North Shore district so you can hop on a bike and ride around with ease. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the area so there’s plenty to eat and see!
One of my other favorite things about this Graduate Hotel was the outside. Both sides of the hotel had some amazing murals that made the building stick out!

If you’re headed to the Columbus area I definitely recommend staying at the Graduate. What did you like most about the Graduate Hotel Columbus? Let me know in a comment below!
