I received a complimentary stay at Hotel Bella Grace in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
My mom and I did a girl’s trip to Savannah and Charleston last week and had the best time! We had been to Charleston a few years before but stayed in a hotel outside the city (it’s cheaper) and we were a little stressed trying to park and see the city by car.
This time around we decided to stay in the heart of Charleston so we could walk everywhere and explore the city. After some research, I found a hotel right off of Calhoun Street that had just opened in August called Hotel Bella Grace. Hotel Bella Grace is a Marriott property and is absolutely gorgeous.
It’s a modern boutique hotel that has 200 years of history on the property. The hotel is adjacent to the Delaney House, which is where you go get your complimentary breakfast in the morning. The hotel has 50 guest rooms that are absolutely gorgeous. We walked into our room and loved all the mirrors, lighting, and full kitchen. See more of our room and the property below.

The full kitchen in the Studio Suite was amazing! We had a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink, microwave, and stove. You could stay in and cook or reheat leftovers! The rooms were a great size and so glamorous. All the mirrors had great lighting and the bed was perfect to fall into after a day of exploring Charleston.
The hotel was within walking distance to King Street, the City Market, and everywhere else we needed to go. We parked our car in the hotel parking lot and never had to use it. When I can walk everywhere and get a better sense of the city and culture, count me in! We had the best time in Charleston and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bella Grace!
If you’re headed to Charleston anytime soon, book your room at this new hotel and tell them Greta sent you!
