Who else can’t believe that April is already halfway over? I’ve got summer on my mind and that got me thinking about what I need to do to get ready for summer. I’ve got five things that I do every spring to get me summer-ready.
5 THINGS TO DO TO GET READY FOR SUMMER
1.Haircut or trim. I just chop my hair and it feels so light and airy! It’s nice getting a fresh start without split ends. Plus it makes me feel oh so sassy!
3. Invest in good skin care. I’m a huge fan of having good sunscreen and moisturizer year round but especially during the summer! You’re outside more, the weather is warmer, and you need to take care of your skin.
4. Switch out your closet. Twice a year and clean and organize my closet. This weekend I moved all of my summer/spring items out of storage and packed up most of my winter clothing and accessories. Time for shorts, crop tops and matching sets y’all!
5. Color your hair. I love having a fresh color to kick off the new season. Walmart brand Schwarzkopf color ULTÎME®, has been my go-to lately. Schwarzkopf color ULTÎME® gives me vibrant, long-lasting color, shine and color freshness. I colored my hair a few days ago and it still feels so shiny and soft!
I always get my Schwarzkopf hair color at my local Walmart. If you live in Nashville and shop at the Walmart in West Nashville this hair color is located in aisle J17.
I usually go with Parisian Brown but decided to switch it up and get the 5.28 Cocoa Red. It’s brown with a little hint of red. Super sassy right?! The coloring process is so easy and leaves you with flawless and salon-quality color.

Like I said above, it’s been a few days since I colored my hair and my hair is still so silky and shiny!
