It’s hard to think that just a week ago I was in Milan wrapping up my Italian adventure. Six days later and I’m back in grad school mode, getting back into work and a routine in an apartment we just moved into. I’m working on all my travel guides to Italy but started thinking about traveling for two weeks.
Before we left Vera Bradley was kind enough to send me some great pieces to help me stay organized while traveling. These items were a lifesaver so I figured you needed to know about them too!
This cover accomodates most hairstyling tools and has a heat resistent lining. It comes in six fun patterns and helped me keep all my hair styling tools in one place. (I’m usually digging trying to find my curling iron or straightener!)
So confession time. I usually travel with my makeup in a freezer size ziplock bag, so this was much more fashionable option to hold all my makeup and brushes.
So this piece is technically a jewelry organizer, but I used it to hold all of my toiletries. It has a hanger that I could put on the towel rack in the bathroom and have everything I needed in one place.
This isn’t a piece to keep you organized but it was a life saver. It’s a blanket that folds into a pillow and has a strap to fit over the luggage handle. We traveled through car, train, subway and plane and I used it in each place!
I’m obsessed with this watermelon cross body bag and got so many compliments on it when we traveled. We were at the Duomo in Milan and I had to have my bag checked. A soldier looked at my bag, smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I hate carrying totes when I’m sight seeing and love the comfortable strap and card holder inside. A small bag is a must when traveling!
