Tis the season for festive cocktails! Music City has been keeping busy with its winter and holiday pop-up bars. There are almost too many to mention, let alone visit before Christmas. That’s why, in the spirit of merriment, I’m sharing my 5 Nashville cocktail bars in December and November. Follow along!
5 Nashville Cocktail Bars During the Holidays
Now, before I spill the hot chocolate (get it, instead of tea) on the best holiday cocktail in Nashville, the city of Nashville is insane right now. I always recommend making reservations or arriving right as these bars open. If not, there’s a chance you’ll have to wait for a while or not get it at all.
Fairlane Hotel Misfit Toy Bar
I love the Fairlane Hotel. They have the best pop-up bars and they always let me shoot content in their beautiful space. I’ve been twice already this holiday season and it feels like you’re in a snow globe! There are Christmas tree displays, candy cane wallpaper, and fun kitschy holiday décor. My favorite themed cocktails are the ‘Fa La La Lit’ and ‘Gettin’ Blitzen.’ I also recommend you order a charcuterie board and some sugar cookies with your friends! Click the link above to go to the website and learn more.
They’re open Monday – Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Make sure to make a reservation and enjoy all their decorated Christmas Trees! Also, take a second to enjoy the live music and other lobby events.
Hidden Bar’s Holiday Vacation at Noelle
Ever want to live like Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation? Well, you kind of can at Noelle! Head to the lower level and get into the secret bar. You’ll go through a room of lights, open the door and be right at the infamous Griswold Residence! With nostalgic moments from the film and Christmas Vacation-inspired cocktail and food menus.
There are no reservations so get there early! They have pay-by-hour valet parking and a great spot close to downtown Nashville. They’re open Monday from 5 pm to Midnight (Unless closed for private events), Tuesday from 5 pm to Midnight, Wednesday from 5 pm to Midnight, Thursday from 5 pm to Midnight, Friday from 5 pm to 1 am, Saturday from 5 pm to 1 am, and Sunday from 5 pm to Midnight. While you’re down there check out historic Printers Alley.
Elf Pop Up at The Dream
SANTA? I KNOW HIM. The Parlour Bar at The Dream is one of the Nashville Bars that is now all things Buddy the Elf… that serves holiday cocktails. This is a hard one to get into so get there early! I’m a fan of getting a seat at the bar and letting the bartenders whip up something special and cheerful just for you.
The Parlour Bar is open Monday from 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, Tuesday from 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, Wednesday from 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, Thursday from 4:00 pm – 1:00 am, Friday from 12:00 pm – 1:00 am, Saturday from 12:00 pm – 1:00 am and Sunday from 12:00 pm – 12:00 am.
Get Cozy at Camp Bobby
If you like a cozy bar vibe, head to the Bobby Hotel. They have heated igloos on their rooftop in addition to ice skating and some yummy cocktails. It’s a magical winter escape and you have to rent an igloo for yourself and your party. If you walk in, you can maybe find a seat around a campfire outdoors. But take it from me, you’ll want to rent an igloo. Go in on it with some friends and make a night of it! It’s such a cool way to spend the holidays with friends, loved ones, and boozy holiday cocktails.
The Bobby is also famous for its retro camper on the roof. It’s been transformed into a Christmas candy cottage for the holidays! The camper lounge is walk-in only so first come, first serve!
The synthetic ice rink is $10 per person and sessions are available every hour from open to close.
The Lodge at Virgin Hotels Nashville
Virgin Hotels already has such a vibe, but the Nashville hotel has transformed its top floor/rooftop into a ski lodge for the winter solstice! Have all the aprés ski vibes with fire, hot chocolate, boozy drinks, and a themed dining experience. They have an awesome food menu and list of craft cocktail. Luckily they take reservations so book your table so you’re sure to get in! The Lodge is open Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (kitchen closes At 10 p.m.) and Friday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. (kitchen closes At 11 p.m.). It’s stories above downtown Nashville and you can experience this Winter wonderland through the top-floor rooftop pool.
