Happy Monday everyone! Last week my friend Alicia was in town and we got up early to take photos on Broadway Nashville. As we walked up and down this famous street, I realized I’ve never shared my favorite spots with you! So today is dedicated to Broadway and all its glory.
As a Nashville native, I have a love/hate relationship with Broadway. Some spots are super touristy, some are owned by country artists, and are a tad lame. And then there are some that are just classic; they represent what Nashville is and you have the best time while you’re there. I’m not a big drinker so for me, I’m all about the experience and vibe rather than the drinks. Check out five of my favorites.
BROADWAY NASHVILLE: 5 FAVORITE SPOTS
The Wild Beaver
This is a block or two away from Broadway but deserves an honorable mention. You go to The Beaver for karaoke and to ride the bull. If you’re with friends who love to sing it can be the best time. You actually hear some great talent at The Beaver! I’ve only done karaoke a handful of times and am usually the one taking the video or dancing.
Acme Feed & Seed
Not your usual honky-tonk, Acme is newer and a little more modern. Acme has four floors, the first two floors are for eating and drinking, the third is an event space and the fourth is a rooftop patio. I love hanging out here during the summer and listening to music. The vibe is basically hipster meets cowgirl.
The Wildhorse Saloon
A Nashville classic! Honestly, I come here to dance and have fun. Line dance and burn a few calories at this Nashville landmark. A family-friendly venue in the heart of Music City’s downtown district with FREE line dance lessons on the largest dance floor in Tennessee.
Tootsies
This place is world-famous and always packed out. I love coming here for the music and people watching. You honestly never know who is going to walk through that door! Tootsies is three stories high with a different live band playing on each level.
The Big Bang
Their website says it best: With two pianos and two performers, it’s non-stop, totally wild fun. The music is based entirely on audience requests, so every night is different—but no matter what, an amazing sing-along, laugh-along, the dance-along night is always guaranteed.
I’ve never been to Nashville so I don’t know any of these places, but they do sound quite fun. And your dress is making me think of spring, which is a great thing!
