Growing up I loved reading more than anything. You’d always find me with a nose in a book! As I get older, it’s become harder and harder to get myself back in that headspace. Usually, I fall asleep scrolling through Instagram or in a deep hole known as Wikipedia. (Anyone else? No? Just me?)
I’ve been trying to relax more before bedtime and settle in with a book rather than technology. I just checked out some books from the library and am excited to share the 5 books that are on my bedside table this week!
Top 5 Books to Read this Fall
Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media
This book has been a complete game-changer for me and my blog. I learn something new every time I open it. If you’re a blogger or Instagrammer, this is such a good read.
When Life Gives You Lululemons
I loved The Devil Wears Prada in high school and this book is a sequel to the character Emily (Emily Blunt in the movie). I’ve heard the best things about this and am excited to read it for myself!
Crazy Rich Asians
Everyone has told me to read this, everyone told me to go see the movie. I’m behind but I’ll catch up! Usually, I like reading books before movies because it’s nice to be in the character’s head. I’ll get through this trilogy if it’s the last thing I do!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
I watched the movie on Netflix and absolutely loved it! This is another trilogy I need to get to reading ASAP.
Little Women
Yes, this isn’t a new book, but it’s a book I like to read every Christmas! Plus my fellow Greta, Greta Gerwig, is directing the remake and I couldn’t be more excited. (Not that I don’t love Clare Dane and Winona Ryder in the classic movie!)
I love the keepsake edition of Little Women! I have the Anne of Green Gables on and it looks so pretty as a decor piece on my book shelf!
