Over Labor Day weekend we decided to go on a road trip to Charleston South Carolina. It’s about 8 hours from Nashville and such a beautiful drive. I’ve been to Charleston a handful of times but my husband had never been before and wanted to see this beautiful part of the United States for himself. Today I’m sharing our full Charleston itinerary and all the things we did during our three days there.
How to Spend 3 Days in Charleston
Where to Stay
French Quarter Inn Hotel
We chose at the French Quarter Inn during our 3 days in Charleston and it was the perfect spot. Located right next to the Charleston City Market and within walking distance to all the historic homes and places to see. We stayed in the Deluxe Market View Terrace Suite which had two queen beds, refrigerator, bathtub, walk in shower, fireplace and so many amenities. I especially loved the complimentary bikes are available 24/7 so you can ride all over the city and explore.
Other complimentary amenities include daily breakfast (in your room or lobby) from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., valet parking, evening wine + cheese reception from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., sweet tea and candy 24/7, and nightly freshly baked cookies and milk from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. They also have a bar in the lobby where you can get wine or a cocktail in the evening. I give the French Quarter Inn 10/10 for location and amenities!
